Sometimes the energy level (that’s a nice way to say chaos) in your home mounts to such a high level you just have to bring it down a notch. But saying so doesn’t make it happen. You have to be pro active in making it happen. And I don’t mean scream louder than the others. I mean separate the noisemakers, and replace the hyper activities they are doing with calm, quiet, peaceful ones. It won’t happen immediately. You’ll have to be persistent.
Think of quiet activities to assign. Cleaning a bedroom. Drying the dishes. Doing homework. Sweeping the floors. If you feel that more entertaining activities are in order, then get yourself a lot of cheap children’s books, craft supplies, board games, etc. Whichever way you go, keep supplies on hand and a list in your head or on paper of what activities you want them to do.

I want to be a screenwriter but I do not know if I’m good enough. Right now I live in Hollywood and I work at a restaurant as a waiter.
