One of the ways I have managed to improve my golf is to spend more time working on my putting. Many golfers could not be bothered with this and yet it is such an overlooked method of lowering your scores. As time for most of us is limited I found the best way to get this practice was to arrange my own putting green at home so that whenever I have a little bit of spare time I can go outside and practice.
With limited time each week most of us struggle to get to the practice range and when we do the thought of spending our valuable time putting is not a good one. You will also notice that most golfers prefer to spend their practice time smacking their drivers down the fairway and little attention is paid to the short game. I suppose this is human nature but setting yourself up at home is the easiest way to get that much needed improvement around the greens.
If you can even knock off two shots per round after a few months of practice you will be very happy with your new handicap and this will make the effort worthwhile.

I Am a Lifeguard
I studied basic first aid, and I volunteer for lifeguard duty. I work throughout the year as a waiter, and offer my services during the summer holidays when lifeguards are needed. We spent fourteen days in the Black Hills and Yellowstone and slept in this every evening with our vintage backpacks. Remembering the Fun We Had when We Were Kids

The Finest Basketball Hoop
It was only last month that I was able to fulfill a life long dream of mine. I was finally able to build a residential basketball court and I have always wanted to do that. When I was a child I would always dream about the time when I would have my own place. I vowed to myself that I build my own court there. Now, I have been able to fulfill that dream of mine and I am enjoying playing on my court whenever I want to.
The most important decision that I made when I was building that court was the kind of basketball hoop that I was suppose to get. Real Football Needs Real Goals
My son came in, sulking! He’d fallen out with his friend over a game of football because he said it was a goal and his friend said it wasn’t.
He said that he could have proved it to his friend if they’d been playing with proper football goals, instead of plant pots. I had to agree with him, there’s no mistaking whether a ball lands in the net, or not, if you actually have one.
I told him to have a look at some football goals for the garden, seeing as it was coming up to his birthday, and suggested he might like some as one of his presents.
Well that certainly put a smile on his face and, after an hour of choosing the perfect ones, he couldn’t wait to go and call for his friend (yes, the exact same friend he’d just fallen out with!)
They were both back within 5 minutes so he could show his friend the exact goals that he would be getting for his birthday the following week!
